Global Life Guide

Editorial policy

Global Life Guide publishes original practical guides written in plain language. Guides give conservative first steps and direct readers to official authorities for confirmed requirements. We do not copy official text, invent local facts, or present guide content as legal, financial, immigration, or medical certainty.

Content standards

  • Quick answers for urgent problems — actionable, not promotional
  • Practical next steps and checklists
  • Country context without unverified local claims
  • Last updated and sources-checked dates on all guides
  • Related guides that help users continue safely
  • Verification guidance where exact local rules are not confirmed

Source standards

Verified official links are used where available. These include national government portals, emergency services, tax authorities, consumer bodies, and other responsible authorities. External official travel advice (U.S. State Dept, GOV.UK, Your Europe) is clearly labelled as being primarily for citizens of the issuing country. No random blogs, commercial visa websites, or unverified unofficial sources are used as official sources.

What we do not claim

  • We do not claim exact fees, deadlines, or eligibility rules unless verified from a named official source.
  • We do not provide emergency numbers we have not confirmed.
  • We do not provide official portal URLs we cannot verify.
  • We do not give legal, financial, immigration, or medical advice.

Corrections

Corrections are based on official or clearly authoritative sources. To submit a correction, email contact@globallifeguide.com with the page URL, the issue, and the official source. Pages are updated when corrections are confirmed.

Limitations

Rules, fees, deadlines, and procedures change. This site is updated on a best-effort basis. Sensitive topics are handled conservatively. Readers are directed to official or qualified sources for legally binding information.
